To certify, follow this link https://waterpolo-canada-parent.respectgroupinc.com/. There is a fee of $12 to take the course, however, the certification will be valid for 5 years.
You can quickly and easily look up whether you have taken this training and/or the certification date using your name and email address at this website: https://validation.respectgroupinc.com/.

swimsuit
Swim like a Dolphin and Pups athletes are not required to purchase Seawolves team suits but are welcome to if they would like.
Seawolves bathing suits are required for athletes who are registered for the U12, U14 or U18 teams and are not included in registration fees.
Please visit our Parent Info page for more information.
FEE STRUCTURE
There is a registration fee to Calgary Seawolves, a fee to Alberta Water Polo and a fee to Water Polo Canada (differs depending on team, see table linked below).
*During payment, the system will apply a small processing fee of ≈2.3%
Please click here to view the fee structure table for the 2024-25 season.
Alberta Water Polo and Water Polo Canada fees - These fees are paid directly to AWPA and WPC at the time of the registration. These fees are NON-REFUNDABLE and paid only once a year (including Swim Like a Dolphin). It can be paid only in the RAMP system by credit card. Even if you withdraw from the program at a future date, subject to the Seawolves Water Polo Club refund policy we are not able to refund the Alberta Water Polo or Water Polo Canada fees.
If you are registering a pups player: there is a small hiccup this year between Water Polo Canada and the Alberta Water Polo Association which has impacted how we must classify athletes for insurance purposes. **If you are registering a Pups player (birth years 2015-2016) you will be required to use the following promo code at the AWPA fee payment section. This promo code can only be used for Pup’s registration and if it is used by other groups it will cause your player not to be insured and to be removed from the registration database. The promo code must be input at the time of registration and is inserted in the second ‘apply promo code’ section in the following screenshot. Note, it is independent from the registration code for players who participated in the spring session and players who participated in the spring session AND who are pups players can apply both. This promo code is: ‘NPLAthlete’. It should reduce your AWPA fees, for pups players only, by $15. As these fees are non-refundable please ensure if you are registering a Pups player you apply the AWPA promo code at this stage in the registration process to ensure you are not over-paying for your insurance. We apologize for this extra step.
Swim Like A Dolphins Players who would like to play in Pupfests events will be required to increase their AWPA/WPC coverage to the $45/$35 level ($80 for the year) by paying the difference between Swim Like A Dolphin and Pups ($55/year additional). More information to come on how to upgrade membership for Pupfest events will be sent ahead of the first pupfest event.
refund policy
The Seawolves Refund Policy is found in a separate tab in the registration platform’s (Ramp’s) menu panel, shown on the left hand side once you log-in.
Please, read carefully before registering.
code of conduct
We have updated our Code of Conduct (accessed through the above Ramp registration link) to reflect more current practices and policies for our teams. It requires parents and players to sign and agree to the new program.
volunteer requirements
Our organization relies heavily on volunteers to operate. As a result we require each family to volunteer, when opportunities arise, during the season.
To ensure that we have adequate support during the season we will require all families to supply one volunteer cheque (reduced from two in the past) in the amount of $200 which will be cashed at the end of the season if your volunteer commitment is not fulfilled.
In the past we have also required casino cheques but since we have recently had a casino event it is not anticipated that we will be allocated another casino date within this season and therefore casino cheques will not be required this season. The volunteer cheque must be received either at the time of the swimsuit try on September 6th, or at the first week of practices.
