RESPECT IN SPORT CERTIFICATION

Alberta Water Polo now requires that one parent or guardian take the Respect in Sport Parent program (please note this is different from the Respect In Sport for Activity Leaders Program). To certify, follow this link https://waterpolo-canada-parent.respectgroupinc.com/. There is a fee of $12 to take the course, however, the certification will be valid for 5 years.

You can quickly and easily look up whether you have taken this training and/or the certification date using your name and email address at this website: https://validation.respectgroupinc.com/.

This season, in order for your child to join practices this training must be complete and a valid number must be input in the registration platform, Ramp. You will be asked to input this number during the registration process if it is not already on-file so please have the number ready.

Swim like a Dolphin and Pups athletes are not required to purchase Seawolves team suits but are welcome to if they would like.

Please visit our Parent Info page for more information.

There is a registration fee to Calgary Seawolves, a fee to Alberta Water Polo and a fee to Water Polo Canada (differs depending on team, see table linked below).

*During payment, the system will apply a small processing fee of ≈2.3%

refund policy

The Seawolves Refund Policy is found in a separate tab in the registration platform’s (Ramp’s) menu panel, shown on the left hand side once you log-in.

Please, read carefully before registering.

code of conduct

We have updated our Code of Conduct (accessed through the above Ramp registration link) to reflect more current practices and policies for our teams. It requires parents and players to sign and agree to the new program.

volunteer requirements

Our organization relies heavily on volunteers to operate. As a result we require each family to volunteer, when opportunities arise, during the season.

To ensure that we have adequate support during the season we will require all families to supply one volunteer cheque (reduced from two in the past) in the amount of $200 which will be cashed at the end of the season if your volunteer commitment is not fulfilled.

In the past we have also required casino cheques but since we have recently had a casino event it is not anticipated that we will be allocated another casino date within this season and therefore casino cheques will not be required this season.  The volunteer cheque must be received either at the time of the swimsuit try on September 6th, or at the first week of practices.

Please visit our Parent Info page for more information.
