HOW REGISTRATION WORKS
Swim Like a Dolphin uses a one-step registration process. Families register directly for the Fall 2026 session and complete payment during registration.
These programs use a required two-part registration process:
Part 1 – Assessment Registration: Register your athlete for their age group’s assessment to reserve a space in the program.
Part 2 – Season Registration: After assessments, families will receive their athlete’s team placement, a team-specific registration password and instructions for completing season registration.
Assessments are not tryouts. Every athlete who registers for assessments will be offered a space on a team. Athletes must register for assessments to reserve a space, even if they cannot attend on September 2.
Before beginning registration, please ensure that you have:
A RAMP account/your RAMP email address and password.
Your athlete’s birth certificate available to upload.
A valid Respect in Sport Parent Program certification number.
One parent or guardian must complete the Respect in Sport Parent Program. Please note that this is different from the Respect in Sport for Activity Leaders Program. A valid certification number must be entered in RAMP before the athlete can participate.
If you have previously completed the program, you can look up your certification number and expiry date using the Respect in Sport certificate validation website.
A credit card for payment of Alberta Water Polo and Water Polo Canada fees.
Reviewed the Seawolves Refund Policy found in the RAMP registration menu.
If your athlete has previously registered through RAMP, please use their existing athlete profile. Using the same name and profile ensures that payments made during assessment registration are properly credited toward season registration.
If a birth certificate is already shown in your athlete’s profile, click the existing file to confirm that the correct document has been uploaded. If it is not already on file, please upload it during registration or ensure it is uploaded before the season begins.
Swim Like a Dolphin registration is open to athletes born between January 1, 2019 and December 31, 2020.
The Fall Session runs from September 15 to December 3, 2026. Practices take place twice per week on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:15–5:00 p.m. at Shouldice Aquatic Centre.
Swim Like a Dolphin uses a one-step registration process. Select the Swim Like a Dolphin – Fall 2026 package in RAMP and complete the full registration and payment process.
The Seawolves registration fee is $330. Alberta Water Polo and Water Polo Canada fees are paid directly through RAMP and are additional to the Seawolves fee.
Swim Like a Dolphin athletes are insured for their two weekly scheduled practices. Athletes who wish to participate in optional Pups Fest events will require upgraded Alberta Water Polo and Water Polo Canada coverage. No action is required at this time. Additional information will be provided before the first Pups Fest event.
Families registered only in Swim Like a Dolphin are not required to provide volunteer or casino cheques.
Registration for Pups, 12U, 14U and 18U takes place in two required parts.
All athletes must register for their age group’s assessment to reserve a space in the program. Assessments are not tryouts, and every athlete registered for assessments will be offered a space on a team.
When registering:
Select the correct assessment package based on your athlete’s birth year and age group.
Select Athlete Member when prompted, including for athletes who are 12U or older.
Complete all required information, acknowledgements and payment.
Confirm that you receive a registration confirmation email.
If your athlete cannot attend the assessment, you must still register them for assessments to reserve their space and then email registrar@calgaryseawolveswaterpolo.ca.
Within one week after assessments, families will receive an email identifying the team their athlete has been invited to join.
The email will include a password for the appropriate team’s season registration package. Families will have four days from the date the placement email is sent to complete Part 2 and accept the space.
If you choose not to proceed with season registration, please notify the Registrar so the space can be offered to another athlete. If registration is not completed and the Registrar has not heard from you within four days, the club will assume that you have declined the space.
Select the Click Here to Register button at the top of this page.
Enter your RAMP email address and password.
Select Participant and add your athlete if they do not already have a RAMP profile.

Swim Like a Dolphin – Fall 2026.

For Swim Like a Dolphin, families will also pay the $330 Seawolves registration fee.
Select Submit Registration. A confirmation screen should appear, and you should also receive a confirmation email.
Pups, 12U, 14U and 18U athletes should attend their scheduled assessment on September 2. If your athlete cannot attend, email the Registrar after completing assessment registration.

Swimsuit Try-On and Apparel Showcase: 6:30–8:00 p.m. in the MNP Learning Room.
Please bring goggles, a swimsuit and a towel. Assessments will include swimming evaluations and water polo skill assessments.
These are not tryouts. All athletes who register for assessments will be offered a space on a team.
If your athlete cannot attend, please register for assessments anyway to reserve their space and email registrar@calgaryseawolveswaterpolo.ca.
There is no Seawolves fee for the assessment. Families will pay the initial Alberta Water Polo and Water Polo Canada fee of approximately $33 during assessment registration. This payment is non-refundable.
When season registration is completed after assessments, RAMP should deduct the amount already paid from the remaining Alberta Water Polo and Water Polo Canada fees, which are expected to be approximately $75.
Please use the same athlete name and RAMP profile for both assessment registration and season registration. If a different name or profile is used, RAMP may not recognize the amount previously paid.
Five volunteers are required to assist with the assessment and apparel event. Volunteers should arrive at 6:00 p.m. and remain afterward to help with cleanup.
If you can volunteer, please contact Jo-Ann at teamapparel@calgaryseawolveswaterpolo.ca. This opportunity will count toward your volunteer commitment.
The swimsuit try-on and apparel showcase will take place on September 2 from 6:30–8:00 p.m. in the Learning Room at MNP Community & Sport Centre.
All athletes, regardless of program, are required to order a Seawolves club T-shirt through the official ordering portal.
Official Seawolves swimsuits are mandatory for 12U, 14U and 18U athletes and are not included in registration fees.
Boys’ swimsuits: $65
Girls’ swimsuits: $85
Swimsuits can be paid for by e-transfer during the swimsuit try-on. Final distribution will take place during the following month. Additional ordering information and links will be provided by the Apparel Manager.
Families pay separate fees to the Calgary Seawolves, Alberta Water Polo and Water Polo Canada. A processing fee of approximately 2.3% is also applied through RAMP.
Alberta Water Polo and Water Polo Canada fees:
Are paid directly through RAMP by credit card.
Are paid only once each water polo year.
Are non-refundable, including if an athlete later withdraws.
Are paid in two portions for Pups, 12U, 14U and 18U athletes: an initial payment during assessment registration and the remaining amount during season registration.
The Seawolves Refund Policy is available in a separate tab in the RAMP registration menu. Please review it carefully before registering. The deadline to withdraw and receive a 50% refund of eligible Seawolves registration fees is September 30, 2026.
RAMP may also offer optional withdrawal insurance through an independent third-party provider. This insurance covers certain circumstances that may allow registration fees to be refunded. Purchasing this insurance is optional and is not required by the Calgary Seawolves.
If an athlete is invited to attend additional practices or play with an older age group, any additional fees will be communicated when the invitation is extended.
Deposit cheques must be provided during the September 2 swimsuit try-on or to the team manager during the first week of practices.
Families registered only in Swim Like a Dolphin do not require a volunteer cheque or casino cheque.
Families registered only in Pups do not have a formal volunteer-point requirement and do not require a volunteer cheque.
Pups families must provide one $300 casino cheque.
Families with an athlete registered in 12U, 14U or 18U must provide:
One $300 volunteer cheque.
One $300 casino cheque.
These families are required to complete 12 volunteer points during the season.

Athlete check-in or admissions.
Event setup and takedown.
Shot-clock operator or game secretary.
Club spectator supervisor.
Pups Fest registration assistance or net transportation.
